PVC and Bentonite Liners |
![]() |
| Bentonite Liners are
economical water containment solutions for smaller applications such as
golf course ponds, decorative water features and live stock ponds.
A basin is excavated to meet requirements, and the area is compacted.
Bentonite powder is mixed into the soil with a tiller and then compacted
with a vibrating roller. Excavated soil is then spread over the
treated area and compacted to insulate and protect the liner. PVC Liners are another cost effective water containment method for agricultural and recreational ponds. After the treatment area has been excavated and compacted, a 30 mil. sheet of PVC plastic is laid in place. Backfill comprised of excavated soil covers the PVC and is then compacted to hold the liner in place and to protect it from damage by animals or humans.
